Application Schedule

1st Round: 8:00 AM January 1, 2026-5:00 PM March 31, 2026 (Beijing Time) 

2nd Round: 8:00 AM April 7, 2026-5:00 PM April 30, 2026 (Beijing Time)

* The winter break at THU will be from Jan. 22, 2026 to Feb. 23, 2026. The application system will still be available during the winter break, but online verification might be delayed due to the vacation. First-round applicants are therefore recommended to complete their application at least two or three weeks in advance.

Tuition Fees

The tuition for this program includes two components:

Tsinghua University: 50,000 RMB per year multiplied by the student's total study duration (two years at Tsinghua University).

Nanyang Technological University: Tuition fees are charged according to the academic year standard, with the total for Academic Year 2026–2027 being approximately 43,000 Singapore dollars.

5. Chinese and English proficiency requirements.

(1). The Chinese language proficiency requirements are as follows. Meeting any one of these is sufficient:

● Achieve a score of 195 or higher on HSK Level 4.

● Applicants who have completed their undergraduate or master's studies in Chinese must submit a certificate from their university and demonstrate fluent Chinese speaking skills during the admission interview. If approved, these applicants are exempt from submitting HSK certificates.

(2).The English language proficiency requirements are as follows. Meeting any one of these is sufficient:

●Applicants must have an IELTS score of no less than 7 or a TOEFL score of no less than 103. The IELTS sub-scores should not be less than 6.0.

●Applicants who have completed their undergraduate studies in English must submit a certificate from their university and demonstrate fluent English speaking skills during the admission interview. If approved, these applicants are exempt from submitting IELTS or TOEFL certificates.

All certificates and documents must be original copies or notarized in Chinese or English. If they are in other languages, please provide notarized translations in Chinese or English.
