Focused in film and television studies, audio-visual art and industry, the CFTS is one of the national centers in the field that has successfully developed close ties with the media institutions and government departments, and also integrated information science, literature, managerial science and audio-visual related subjects for a basis of comprehensive television and film studies. Current main area of research includes film and television industry in globalization, digitalization of film and television.
