Mr. David Schlesinger, Global Managing Editor of the Reuters, and Ms. Rosemary Martin, Reuters Company Secretary and Chair of the Reuters foundation, visited Tsinghua on September 1st. Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe met and talked with Mr. David Schlesinger and Ms. Rosemary Martin. The two exchanged ideas on the development of Tsinghua and Reuters and hoped more collaboration could be built between the two in the future.

Mr. David Schlesinger and Ms. Rosemary Martin visited the School of Journalism and Communication later that day to attend a ceremony that declared the formal opening of the 揟singhua-Reuters Programme on Global Journalism.
